Find your People IS A training curriculum that provides SPECIALIZED RESOURCES, mentorship and guidance for seven ESSENTIAL disciplines in the filmmaking process.
FIND YOUR PEOPLE BEGINS IN SPRING OF 2023.
There will be several in person training sessions and networking events. At the end of this extensive process, participants will have the opportunity to pitch their short film project to a committee who could green light the funding.
Applicants may only apply for one of the seven disciplines
In every stage of the process, participants will encounter top professionals in the industry.

Each discipline has hard and soft skills that will be discussed.
All participants will receive contributions towards their craft through stipends and other perks.

WHO CAN APPLY
Anyone over the age of 18 who is eligible to work in the United States.
How long is the program?
The program is designed to run six months from Spring to Fall. All applicants must commit to attend all workshops, meetings and events which will be communicated ahead of your admission to the program.
Do I have to complete the application in one sitting?
No, but it is recommended. The application is conducted through Typeform. You can begin to fill out the application, close it, and return later and your answers will still be there. The only rule is that you have to be on the same browser and device (and not in Incognito or Private browsing mode). Your answers will be kept safely in your browser’s local storage, for 15 days. When you open the typeform again, you’ll be taken to the start of the form, but will see your existing answers from your last visit. You can edit those answers and fill out the rest of the questions before submitting.
What if I missed the deadline?
The application for this years program closes on Tuesday, March 28th at 11:59pm. To be fair to all applicants, there will not be a deadline extension. We suggest finishing your application and submitting it at least 72 hours before the deadline.
Is the program in person or remote?
Find Your People is a hybrid program but there will be mandatory in-person moments throughout the program held in the Los Angeles area.
What do I need to know before I apply?
The most important thing you need to know is which discipline you’re applying for. There are seven different disciplines and each one has unique application requirements. Applicants are encouraged to read the Know Before You Apply Guide before applying.
when will I know if I was selected?
All applicants will receive a timeline of the process in the email correspondence following their application.
Does the program cost money?
The program does not cost money. However, those admitted will be required to be physically located in the Los Angeles area during key moments of the program without exception.
